Lydia began assisting financial advisors in June of 2019 and has worked in administrative and customer service roles since graduating from Belhaven University in April of 2011. These roles have fostered a strong attention to detail and a desire to make administrative processes smooth and efficient. Lydia and her husband Arthur moved to the Knoxville area in 2014 to assist with caregiving for elderly grandparents. This experience highlighted the importance of wise financial and estate planning as they walked with their family through their cognitive decline and continues to motivate Lydia in assisting the advisor team with client care. She seeks to establish a warm and positive environment to cultivate connection and positivity with clients as they navigate change through the different seasons of life. Lydia has also taught dance for 15 years and finds fulfillment in helping students and clients to learn/grow, make educated choices and meet their personal or financial goals.
Lydia lives in Clinton, TN with her husband and two daughters, Allison and Emily. She teaches dance in the evenings at Fuzion School of the Arts in Jefferson City and began homeschooling and participating in Classical Conversations in the Fall of 2024. She also choreographs and performs with Knoxville Christian Arts Ministries, an outreach group that takes Christ-centered arts presentations into prisons across the state. She enjoys singing and dancing, reading, playing board games, attending bible study and church at Redeemer Church of Knoxville, spending time outdoors and watching her kids and cats interact and learn together.
