Andrew began his career in the financial services industry in 1996 with a Savings & Loan in Houston, Texas. In January of 2000, he joined a national company as a Financial Advisor, transferring to Knoxville in the spring of 2006 to become the lead advisor of the team serving the faculty, staff, and coaches at the University of Tennessee. In 2024 he was recognized by Forbes* as a Best-In-State Financial Security Professional. Now, he focuses on a select number of clients who benefit from the value of his choice to be independent.

Before joining the financial services industry, Andrew worked on a Colorado dude ranch in the middle of the Pike National Forest. During this time he learned some important principles that have stuck with him. As a wrangler he educated the guests about horses and riding. The surroundings were a beautiful testament to God’s glory, while the western attire, cook-outs, and square dances inspired enthusiasm for riding the range. Occasionally while leading a ride he would come across a treacherous path, divergent trail, or some other problem for which his experience and guidance was essential. His goal was always to help the guests return to the ranch after a safe and enjoyable ride. As a financial planner, Andrew has found that the best way to help his clients reach their goals is to educate, inspire, and guide them along the path that lies ahead.

He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a Chartered Financial Consultant®, and he has also earned his Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Missouri. His capstone work for the program was the development of an internal Financial Wellness metric that helps him and his teammates track the growth in their clients’ abilities to pursue and obtain their goals. Currently he is a PhD student in Financial Planning at Kansas State University.

Andrew lives in Farragut with his wife Paige and has three sons: Luke, Marshall, and Cooper. He enjoys spending time with his family, whether playing games at home, hiking in the Smoky Mountains, or visiting other national parks, reading historical fiction, playing soccer, watching football (both Texas and Tennessee) and studying God’s word.
